QA Supervisor (QMS)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Report to the QA Manager/QMR to develop, implement, and maintain GHP, HACCP, FSSC22000 and BRC certification systems.
• Supervise and mentor a team of quality assurance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Lead investigations into non-conformities, quality incidents, and customer complaints, driving timely resolutions.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to optimize processes and minimize quality risks.
• Manage and maintain documentation related to quality and food safety systems.
• Deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure team-wide adherence to quality and safety protocols.
• Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and emerging best practices.
• Use data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel to monitor and present key metrics, contributing to process improvements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of GHP, HACCP, FSSC22000 and BRC systems, with a proven compliance record.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
