About this position

The Systems Engineer position involves preparing engineering deliverables, liaising with various teams, and providing support for engineering tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering deliverables (datasheets, specifications, calculations, schedules, drawings etc.) to be reviewed/checked by suitably qualified personnel.
• Liaison with Engineers and designers.
• Liaison with Document Controllers and Support Staff.
• Use of proprietary software applications and tools.
• Familiarization with necessary industry codes and standards.
• Keeping the relevant Engineers/Managers informed of the progress on tasks that have been assigned.
• Attendance at equipment inspections, factory/workshop acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, commissioning as required.
• Attendance on site (Site may be in Thailand or overseas).
• Provide support to follow-on engineering, start-up, and commissioning teams.
• Identify opportunities and report to Discipline lead and/or management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical / Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years' experience for Systems Engineer (New graduates are welcome to apply).
• Experience in Automation or Instrumentation works would be an advantage.
• Experience in PLC ROCKWELL is preferred.
• Proficient in the use of computers and knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• Demonstrates urgency when working to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining high standards of output.
• Proficient in both written and verbal in English.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate in a confident, professional and articulate manner at all levels throughout the organization.
• Quality orientated, with a focus on attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills - ability to plan and prioritize own workload and work on own initiatives.
• Strong team worker - able to operate collaboratively to foster positive working relationships.
• Creative thinker, capable of finding practical solutions to tasks.
• Self-motivated with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
