About this position

The Senior Accountant will supervise the processing of purchases and sales transactions, ensuring a global view of accounts and supporting day-to-day operations. This role involves monthly reconciliations, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with local GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise to process of the volume of purchases and sales transactions and other recurring day to day transactions, the senior accountant shall have a global view of the accounts, control what has been done by the accounts, support and guide them in day to day operations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
• Monitor general ledger transactions.
• Review all transactions in each project.
• Ensure that the general accounting is performed in accordance with the local GAAP and IFRS (consolidated group package).
• Supporting to provide and reconcile the information related to finance accounting & tax.
• Responsible for month-end accounting closing in accordance with timeframe of the group requirements. Ensure an efficient and correct monthly closing.
• To prepare all the accounting reports required by the monthly closing and to respect imposed deadlines.
• Reviews and supervises team for all new fixed asset items and is involved in the yearly physical count of fixed assets.
• Supervise the accountant of Thai Business Hub.
• Responsible for the monthly VAT and WHT submission, and more generally, be a support to the Accounting Manager on tax and fiscal matters.
• Responsible for inter-company AP and AR.
• Maintain and improve cost accounting processes. Provide input and recommendations for streamlining processes and updating the cost accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with both external and internal auditors to complete financial audits and Tax.
• Ad-hoc work assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Have experience in Financial and Accounting or related fields 5-10 years.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai.
• Have knowledge and skills in Excel.
• Knowledgeable in Basic Accounting such as reconcile account.
• Enthusiastic, Teamwork, well organized, positive attitude and service minded.
• Proactive, assertive, and creative approach to problem-solving.
