About this position

The Procurement Engineer (Maintenance Services) is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for maintenance services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to understand their needs and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Forecasting the budget for ordering spare parts and consumables for maintenance in advance on a quarterly basis with customers.
• Monitoring and updating the status of main document tracking, such as work orders and notices from customers who have opened jobs for us.
• Identify, assess, and onboard reliable suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors promptly and effectively.
• Coordinating with vendors for work, including equipment and various documents.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies in procurement and maintenance services.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, with at least 2-3 years in a maintenance or engineering environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to compliance and quality.
