Business Unit QHSE
About this position
The Business Unit QHSE position is responsible for ensuring the establishment and implementation of the HSE Management system, compliance with HSE policies, and the development of the QHSE Management system, while maintaining relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
HSE part
• To ensure that the HSE Management system is established and implemented within the given perimeter.
• To ensure strict compliance within the perimeter of all HSE policies and procedures.
• To achieve and maintain ISO14001:2004 and 18001:2007 certification.
• To monitor HSE performance and advice management as required.
• To ensure that an approved HSE plan is established prior to the implementation of any project.
• To coordinate HSE activities within the perimeter and in relation with the Regional HSE coordinator.
• To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all legal and corporate HSE requirements and practices.
• To effectively promote HSE awareness with the management, region and staff.
Quality part
• To develop and implement the company QHSE Management system.
• To achieve and maintain ISO 9001:2008 certification.
• To monitor QMS performance and advice management as required.
• To ensure that an approved Quality plan is established prior to implementation of any project.
• To coordinate QMS activities within the perimeter and in relation with the Regional HSE coordinator.
• To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all corporate Quality requirements and practices.
• To promote QMS awareness within the management, region and staff.
Requirements
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety /certified with Professional Safety Officer.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in QHSE Functions.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering projects in oil & gas.
• Understanding of ISO 9001/14001/18001 systems.
• Proven a track record in oil & gas industry or multinational company will be given special consideration.
• Strong Leadership and workload management.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
