About this position

The Team Lead for Business Development in Energy Solutions is responsible for driving growth by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in district cooling and integrated energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company’s footprint in Energy Solution, HVAC and Cooling as a Service.
• Identify potential markets, clients, and opportunities for Energy Solution, HVAC and Cooling as a Service - Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
• Lead the process of identifying and securing new business opportunities, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
• Build and manage a robust project pipeline in Energy Solution, HVAC and Cooling as a Service, ensuring the team meets revenue and growth targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance, etc.) to tailor solutions for client needs and ensure successful project delivery.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, developers, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
• Negotiate and finalize agreements, contracts, and service terms with clients, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Manage the Energy Solution team to meet the company target and Foster a high-performance culture within the team, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in HVAC, cooling, energy solutions in C&I sector.
• Minimum 2 years of experience at the level of team leader and strong experience in managing a team Familiar in financial model and contract for PPA or BOOT business model.
• Successful track record in sale or business development in HVAC or Cooling as a Service.
• Having a good understanding of the market dynamics (customers, suppliers, competitors, consultants…).
• Ability to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders at a high senior level.
• Good proficiency in spoken and written English. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
