Warehouse Executive
About this position
Sonoco is seeking a Warehouse Executive to manage inventory, oversee warehousing operations, and ensure safety and compliance in a new plant in Thailand. The role involves team management, quality control, and customer service collaboration.
Responsibilities
• Monitor and control inventory levels.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels accurately.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of material stock position.
• Ensure FIFO in stock management.
• Oversee the receiving and storing of products.
• Ensure that goods are appropriately stored and labelled for easy retrieval.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfil orders efficiently.
• Ensure comply to receiving and delivering procedures.
• Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse personnel.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Enforce safety standards and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations.
• Conduct regular safety training for warehouse staff.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of stored goods.
• Monitor product conditions and address any issues promptly.
• Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor systems.
• Arrange for repairs and replacements as needed.
• Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order fulfilment, and productivity.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to warehouse operations.

• Responsible on reporting of any incidents related to food safety to superiors, ensuring swift and effective response mechanisms are in place.
• Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Ensure that the organization complies with all applicable quality and safety regulations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Warehouse, Business or a related field.
• Preferrable 3 Years experienced in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
