Responsibilities
Production Operations
• Responsible for day-to-day management of the factory premises.
• Trouble shoot problems, analyze the root cause and retrain the factory staff under the PDCA philosophy.
• Control all wastage of materials and ensure that they are within budget.
• Constantly improve Production Efficiency through work process and method studies and recommend management the most effective production technique.
• Responsible for the manpower planning for production operation.
• Ensure proper handling of company’s equipment by all levels of production staff.
• Control of resources in terms of manpower and material usage in accordance with pre-set targets.
• Ensure production outputs met and finished goods are of high quality.
Supervision and Coordination
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line leaders and operators to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedule.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to line leaders and operators, ensuring alignment with production priorities and goals.
• Provide guidance and direction to line leaders and operators, including training on work instruction (WI) and best practices.
• Initiate and plan the activation of all new designs and liaise with customer, artist and cylinder suppliers.
• Ensure that the factory staff is guided and trained in areas of their expertise.
• Responsible for factory staff discipline and behavior.
Communication and Collaboration
• Collaborate with related functional department to address support needs, minimizing production downtime and defect and zero in safety issued.
• Maintain open and effective communication with other functional departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Working with colleagues to implement the company’s policies and goals.
Requirements
• Relevant experience in production supervision or management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various departments.
