About this position

Solvay is seeking a Management Accounting Services Analyst to join their finance department's MAC unit, focusing on costing, profit and loss, inventory, and fixed assets. The role offers opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Cost accounting monthly closing
• Inventory valuation
• Calculate product costing
• Investment / divestment
• Produce reports on profitability, cash-flows and capex
• Internal controls
• Managing month end closing activities thru SAP and BFC tools
• Ad-hoc activity

Requirements

• Relevant education degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• Relevant work experience in minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Competencies:
• Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
• Experience working in a manufacturing organization preferred
• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Computer Skill: Google applications (Google sheets), Microsoft Excel, SAP are a plus
