Solvay is focused on chemistry and the collaboration of diverse minds to improve lives while preserving the planet. The HSE Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring compliance with HSE policies and regulations, contributing to overall HSE management and performance at the site.
Responsibilities
• Deployment of Solvay HSE policies, procedure, standards and guidelines
• Ensure and advice on compliance with HSE policies, regulations and legislation
• Effective and efficient with HSE objectives, programs and tools
• Audit and assessment report of HSE matters
• Internal & external HSE communication
• Site representation towards authorities and community
• Shared best practices
• Incidents analysis & report
• HSE project management
• HSE team performance
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Occupational Health, Safety or Environment
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical plants within an area of HSE is must, experience in team management is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Law, Process Hazard Analysis or risk assessment and PSM, etc
• Strong communication skill and well collaborated.
• Strong leadership and manager skills
• Well decision making and problem solving
• Able to work under pressure and limited timeline
• Good command of English language
