Accounting Manager (Base in Bangkok Office)
About this position
Mainly cover all area in accounting work including reporting function, tax function and supervise a daily operation of accounting team and other assignments assigned by Financial Controller - Thailand.
Responsibilities
Reporting
• Finish month end closing within 4 working days.
• Prepare a monthly financial package within 5 working days.
• Review bank reconciliation report and submit to Financial Controller for approval on a monthly basis.
• Review A/P aging report prepared by assigned staff.
• Review fixed assets register prepared/ maintained by assigned staff.
• Prepare reconciliation report for all balance sheet items on a monthly basis.
• Arrange all documents necessary for annual auditing, be in change person for supporting annual audit process and contact with auditor.
• Review Cost variance and other cost report.
Tax
• Arrange all information necessary for tax calculation & submission by consultant e.g. mid-year & annual income tax returns.
• VAT review, W/T review.
• Coordinate with Revenue Office for their enquiry e.g. VAT refund.
Daily accounting and operation
• Supervise overall accounting functions.
• Review customer aging by assigned staff.
• Review & process payment.
• Handle of A/R function i.e. invoice issuing, receipt recording.
• Process JV for any adjust transactions.
• Organizing fixed assets and inventory physical count in compliance to internal control.
• Communicate with overseas inter company, confirm month end balance.
• Filling corporate or important documents.
Other duty:
• Assists Financial Controller on any assignments.
• Develop / improve accounting system.
• Overall supervise subordinates.
Requirements
EDUCATION
• Bachelor degree in accounting
EXPERIENCE
• With 10-year experience (included 2 years in middle management level) with good analytical skill.
• Background in manufacturing business in a plus.
• Be able to communicate in English.
• Strong background in working with computer and accounting software, especially Advanced Excel. Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
