About this position

The O&M Engineer (Solar Energy) will be responsible for closely collaborating with customers to plan and execute O&M activities at customer sites, as well as monitoring daily plant operations and promptly notifying customers and service providers of any alarms or errors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with customers to plan and execute O&M activities at customer sites
• Monitor daily plant operations and promptly notify customers and service providers of any alarms or errors
• Prepare and submit reports to customers on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, or as necessary
• Identify suitable suppliers/contractors for materials and services to support preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) activities
• Manage and supervise third-party contractors for preventive and corrective maintenance services according to customer schedules and plans
• Manage, inspect, and control spare parts inventory
• Provide technical support and advice to customers on O&M activities
• Prepare tools and safety equipment in accordance with customer processes and policies
• Attend meetings for new projects and other relevant tasks as assigned
• Oversee the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) team
• Support other O&M activities or specific tasks as assigned by the supervisor, if necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 1-3 years of experience in PV Solar Farm/Solar Rooftop, Solar Floating, Power Plant, O&M, Construction, or Field Service
• Good business-level English communication skills and strong presentation skills
• Proficient in Ms. Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with managing customers and contractors in the solar energy sector or related fields
• Must have the ability to effectively contribute to O&M work to ensure quality results
• Able to prioritize tasks and follow up effectively
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Able to focus on important information and identify key details
• Able to adhere to guidelines and work efficiently
• Willingness to travel as required
