Crewing Senior Manager
About this position
The Crewing Senior Manager is responsible for managing the crewing & marine divisions, especially regarding crewing management to ensure the availability of the ship's crew can be met according to the ship's needs and specifications.
Responsibilities
• Ensuring the needs of the crew can be met refers to quality, quantity, ship specification and timeline
• Ensuring each crew meet standard qualification based on company policy
• Work closely with management to ensure crew performance is managed effectively
• Ensuring the welfare of the crew is effective and competitive with existing market
• Manage agency vendors within the scope and work closely with them for crew handling
• Provide supervision of crewing activities and crew allocation
• Evaluate crew rotation plans to optimize the continuity of seafarers' availability
• Optimize company system to maintain seafarer data
• Oversee crewing department budget and provide report of budget usage
• Review all seafarer’s performance and disciplinary cases.
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree / Master Degree from Maritime College, majoring Port and Shipping Management or ANT-I/ANT-II (for seafarers)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Crewing Manager / Training Manager in shipping company
• Having vast connection within seafarer
• In-depth understanding related to STCW 2010 and Flag Regulation
• Able to work with fast-paced environments
• Proficient in English is a must
