In process Quality Engineer / Customer Quality Engineer
About this position
The In Process Quality Engineer / Customer Quality Engineer is responsible for establishing and managing process quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
• Establish and manage process quality control with continuous improvement and make sure part delivery to meet customer satisfaction.
• Interface to team and accurate to reporting daily concern management and completion on interim corrective action all in process concern cases.
• Verify and follow up corrective & preventive action with team and on time update 8D status and make sure it close in tracking list. (Analysis of customer concern and 8D follow-up)
• Issue QRQC to team for quality and any concern problem.
• Lead QRQC by logical thinking to support team to analysis any problem.
• Update daily QRQC tracking and follow up status.
• Communicate with team to meet customer satisfaction and update daily result.
• Summarize NQC cost and generate idea to improvement.
• Update daily weekly and monthly KPI result.
• Support team to 4M management and validate.
• Lead to conduct products and process audit activities.
• Monitoring and control in process inspection result and validation to meet customer specification.
• Support any audit from customers and third parties in the part of the customer monitoring process.
• Support Internal ISO TS16949, and IATF 16949 audits by preparing all documents concerned with the quality inspection process.
• Generate idea and submits suggestion to comply with Mortherson's way.
• Assist QA Manager to ensure that all customer concerns had been solved via 8D methodology and per required quality tools of the company.
• Follow-up a special assignment to support RTL management policy.
• Mentor in process quality Engineer regarding analysis of customer concerns (Senior IQE only).
• Support QA manager to develop, maintain, improve quality management system to meet with customer requirement and consistent with international standard of The Motherson Way.
• Create LPA plan and establish schedule to team.
• Summarize LPA audits result and follow up action LPA activity.
• Create and improvement WI for Final inspection and firewall activity (if any) to meet customer standard.
• Support all special assignment from QA manager.
• Ensure the work place condition meet the safety standard and meet environment’s requirement.
• Must comply with the company disciplinary, EHS, standards, procedures, rules and regulations in the responsible area. Those regulations will be measured as a key performance outlined for the annual performance review.
Requirements
• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering
• 5-10 year experiences of working in Quality
• Experience of in-process quality development
• Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers
• Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge
• Knowledge of TS16949, IATF16949
• Knowledge of measurement techniques
• Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
• Understanding manufacturing processes
• Good planning and priority.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good computer skills in Microsoft office
• Good English skills.
