General Ledger (GL) Accountant Asst.Manager to Manager (Samut Sakhon or Bangkok)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Perform daily reconciliation of bank transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
• Reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) weekly, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
• Analyze stock and variance reports to ensure inventory accuracy and cost control.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
• Continuously improve processes related to the general ledger and financial reporting.
• Bank reconciliation required to be done weekly.
• Accrued, prepaid, advance payment to be reconciled.
• Reconcile TR reports.
Requirements
• Must be a Thailand citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work 6 days per week at the factory in Samut Sakhon Province or 5 days per week in Bangkok Office.
