About this position

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the success of Metthier's smart facility management solutions. You will work closely with the sales team, clients, and internal stakeholders to understand client needs, design tailored solutions, and present these solutions effectively. Your technical expertise and strategic thinking will be essential in positioning Metthier as a top provider of smart facility management solutions.

Responsibilities

Solution Design and Presentation
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored smart facility management solutions.
• Design and present technical solutions that meet client needs, leveraging Metthier’s portfolio of products and services.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of Metthier’s solutions.

Technical Expertise
• Maintain a deep understanding of Metthier’s smart facility management solutions, including security systems, building automation, energy management, and IoT integration.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to ensure Metthier’s solutions remain competitive and innovative.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients during the pre-sales process, addressing any technical questions or concerns.

Collaboration and Communication
• Work closely with internal teams, including product development, engineering, and customer support, to ensure solutions are feasible and align with company capabilities.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to communicate client requirements and feedback, ensuring successful solution delivery and implementation.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and positioning Metthier as a trusted advisor.

Documentation and Reporting
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, proposals, and presentations.
• Track and report on pre-sales activities, client engagements, and solution outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with sales goals.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a technical solution or presales role, preferably in the smart facility management or related industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of smart facility management solutions, including security systems, building automation, energy management, and IoT technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in preparing BOQ and TOR for technical projects and capability to create technical diagrams and read blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with project management.
