About this position

An Infrastructure System Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing innovative cloud-based infrastructures and services that align with organizational and client objectives. This role requires strategic leadership, advanced technical expertise, and a demonstrated ability to foster cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: Lead the design, implementation, and management of suitable IT infrastructure architecture and security solutions for general industries, including configuring and managing server, storage, Network, hypervisor, HCI, container, backup, site discovery, digital certificates, encryption technologies, and standard security.
• Compliance: Ensure that all solutions comply with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 or other security standards.
• Presales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the presales process, design tailored solutions for clients and develop proposals.
• IT Risk Management: Identify risks while implementing comprehensive security measures.
• Project Management: Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within timelines and high standards.
• Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation within the team and enhance their skills.
• Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on infrastructure architecture and security best practices.
• Monitoring and Analysis: Implement and manage monitoring systems and deep analysis tools to oversee performance and security.
• Security Practices: Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and update security protocols.
• Incident Response: Lead incident response related to issues, ensuring quick resolution and post-incident analysis.
• Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as implement configurations, network diagrams, security configurations, and monitoring procedures.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in system and DevOps roles.
• Proven expertise in managing infrastructure projects across diverse environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in infrastructure technologies (e.g., VMWare, Nutanix, Huawei, Veeam, Zerto) and security protocols (e.g., VPN, encryption).
• Strong understanding of IT risk management and DevOps practices.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for effective international collaboration.
