About this position

The Business Analyst Specialist will collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into software requirements, while also analyzing current workflows and systems for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business processes, identify needs, and translate them into detailed software requirements.
• Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, and systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Work with development teams to design software solutions that meet client requirements, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and integration needs.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the client, project managers, and technical teams, ensuring alignment on project goals, scope, and timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases to guide development and testing.
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate software solutions against business requirements, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Assist in managing changes in scope, identifying potential risks, and communicating impacts to project timelines and deliverables.
• Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users during the system implementation and post-deployment phases.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as Business Analyst in Financial Service Industry specifically with mutual funds or investment projects, is highly beneficial.
• Experience working on similar projects involving financial products or investment management is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with technical understanding.
• Solid communication skills to liaise with the business stakeholder and the technical team.
• Clear understanding of software development cycle.
• A Highly organized and detail oriented, vocal and fast learner.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
