About this position

The Business Analyst Senior/Specialist will collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into software requirements, while also analyzing current workflows and systems for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business processes, identify needs, and translate them into detailed software requirements.
• Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, and systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Work with development teams to design software solutions that meet client requirements, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and integration needs.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the client, project managers, and technical teams, ensuring alignment on project goals, scope, and timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases to guide development and testing.
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate software solutions against business requirements, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Assist in managing changes in scope, identifying potential risks, and communicating impacts to project timelines and deliverables.
• Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users during the system implementation and post deployment phases.

Requirements

• At least 4-7 years of experience as Business Analyst in Financial Service Industry specifically with mutual funds or investment projects, is highly beneficial.
• Experience working on similar projects involving financial products or investment management is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with technical understanding.
• Solid communication skills to liaise with the business stakeholder and the technical team.
• Clear understanding of software development cycle.
• A Highly organized and detail oriented, vocal and fast learner.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
