About this position
The PPM (Pengembangan & Pemberdayaan Masyarakat) & Community Development Manager is responsible for building relationships with local communities and stakeholders, designing and managing community development programs, and ensuring compliance with regulations while promoting sustainable practices.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and indigenous groups.
• Conduct regular consultations and outreach programs to understand community needs and concerns.
• Design, implement, and manage community development programs that address social, economic, and environmental issues.
• Conduct assessments to understand the social implications of mining activities on local communities.
• Work with the company to mitigate any adverse effects.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies regarding community engagement.
• Prepare reports for management and stakeholders detailing community development initiatives and outcomes.
• Promote sustainable practices within the community and encourage participation in environmental conservation efforts.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Anthropology or a related field.
• Possessing a CSR Advance certificate, SROI (Social Return on Investment) training, ISO 26000 training – community involvement, government regulations related to PPM; Project Management.
• Experience in community development, stakeholder engagement, or corporate social responsibility, preferably in the mining or resource sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local cultures, social dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to changing environments.
