About this position

Sika is a specialty chemicals company with a leading position in the development and production of systems and products for sealing, bonding, damping, reinforcing, and protecting in the building sector and motor vehicle industry. The R&D Technician will perform routine testing and report testing results for materials and new raw materials approval.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and tools for testing to develop new products as assigned.
• Check to see if there are other materials and tools Is it necessary for concrete trial?
• Test the concrete and record the results in the notebook.
• Press the concrete mortar sample for the specified age.
• Clean the mold for the next use.
• Report the test result.
• Help R&D Chemist prepare samples of new products for sales.
• Change the water in the cement mortar tank every Friday.
• Dispose of the lump and lime remaining from the test according to the specified schedule.
• Clean the room every day.
• Cleaning tools and maintenance every time after use Notify the supervisor as soon as the device has a malfunction.
• Other work as assigned by the supervisor.
• Action follow as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO50001 including the rules of company.

Requirements

• High Vocational and Diploma in Chemist or any other related fields.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in R&D.
• Innovative, resourceful and results-driven.
• Computer and internet Basic.
• Must pass color blindness examination.
