About this position

PT Sika Indonesia, a leader in construction chemicals, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for Ready Mix & Precast in the Central Area, offering long-term career prospects and an attractive remuneration package.

Responsibilities

• Searching for new potential clients and maximizing project of ready mix and precast admixture in designated regions.
• To support existing Ready Mix & Precast customers as well as to assist in the acquisition of “New” Ready Mix & Precast customers & teams by providing on-site, technical training, technical support, and the introduction of all Sika Ready Mix & Precast products.
• To react in a timely fashion to provide technical solutions and to support emergency requests by Ready Mix & Precast customers.
• To offer value added solutions to the Ready Mix & Precast sector through an active “hands on” approach to the Ready Mix & Precast customers.
• Persuading clients that product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and after-sales support services.
• Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, report and other documentation as required.
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs.
• Collaborate with internal team including product development and marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor (S1) degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven track record of success in technical sales within the concrete industry with a minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Have strong understanding of concrete materials, construction methods and industry standards.
• Self-motivated, result oriented and enterprising personality with ability to thrive under pressure.
• Have A driving license.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
• Excellent skills in Computer & Microsoft Office.
