About this position

The Ink Specialist and Controller position at SIG Combibloc Ltd. in Rayong involves managing the ink preparation process for the printing line, ensuring quality and efficiency in ink usage, and maintaining inventory control.

Responsibilities

• To organize ink (Solvent based) preparation process to serve the Printing line by matching the quality, color standard and delivery time.
• To control ink and solvent consumption to be an optimum used.
• To control inventory and organize the stock location in good condition.
• To serve and organize the printing line in part of ink preparation in good quality with color standard matching and good delivery time.
• Controlling ink storage to be in good and safe condition.
• Ability to work as internal storage control and coordinate with external staff for inventory part.
• To improve continuously efficiency, waste level of ink and solvent consumption.
• To support the Pre-Print Department for new design or special requirement.
• Problem defection and information gathering with regards to the problems and improvement in condition if required.
• Responsible to join, co-operate and follow all implementations/ activities concerning the company rules & regulations, Code of Conduct, Gifts Policy, Data Privacy, Acceptable Use Policy, Basic Security Awareness, Advance Security Awareness, safety & quality systems, QMS, BRC, Halal, ISO, Food Safety, Environmental Health and Safety.
• Other tasks as assigned by superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Master degree in Printing Technologies and/or related fields.
• Capable in Ink characteristics.
• Solvent base, water base printing technology.
• Capable in process color C,M,Y,K, spot color.
• Know how about mixing color.
• Competent in standard printing color dE, I, a, b, or Pantone Code.
• Experiences about Gravure Printing Process (advantage).
• Good command in English (Writing and Speaking).
• Chemical handling and inventory control.
• Good in English.
