Responsibilities
Channel Partner Management:
• Identify, onboard, and develop relationships with channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and independent agents.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all channel partners, providing consistent support and communication.
Sales Planning and Execution:
• Develop and implement sales strategies specific to diffused sales channels, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
• Monitor and achieve sales targets through effective channel management.
Training and Enablement:
• Conduct product training sessions to equip channel partners with in-depth knowledge of the company’s offerings.
• Provide ongoing support to partners, addressing technical and operational queries.
• This task will be supported by in-house technical colleagues.
Performance Monitoring:
• Analyze sales data from channel partners to track performance against targets.
• Identify gaps and opportunities, implementing corrective measures or improvement plans as needed.
Market Development:
• Conduct market research to identify potential partners and understand customer needs in targeted regions.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create tailored promotional campaigns for channel partners.
Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and customer support to ensure channel partners have the resources they need.
• Align activities with direct sales teams to avoid channel conflicts and foster synergy.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in indirect sales, channel management, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of managing diffused sales channels effectively.
• Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes and channel dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry knowledge related to the company’s product line (e.g., low-voltage electrical components, etc.).
