Commercial Sales and Project Manager Service Business
About this position
As the Commercial Sales and Project Manager for our office in Australia, you will be having dual roles. You will be responsible for running projects in Australia while being based in Indonesia, Malaysia, or Thailand. In the Sales Commercial function, you will support the Tendering team in preparing and submitting customer offers and bids and subsequent negotiations by taking the lead in commercial and contractual topics. In the Commercial Project Manager‘s role, you will be responsible for the progress and financial health of the projects together with your Project Manager.
Responsibilities
CSM (Commercial Sales Manager)
• Responsible for all commercial activities in budgetary and firm offers in close collaboration with the Bidding and Sales team.
• Critically analyzing the tender/offer requirements. Identifying, elaborating, and executing action items and timely engaging relevant stakeholders/processes (e.g., Legal, Treasury, Taxes etc.).
• Defining the appropriate business model considering internal and external regulations and bid strategy.
• Actively participating from the early stage in the bid preparation and pricing process.
• Preparing, presenting, and acquiring bid approvals in line with Company guidelines along with Bidding Manager.
• Participating in customer negotiations on Terms and Conditions and taking ownership of commercial parts.
CPM (Commercial Project Manager)
• Executed projects as commercial counterparts of the project manager in compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Project accounting, cost controlling and forecasting revenues, margin and cashflows.
• Close monitoring of project cost development, including costs to come, risks and opportunities along with Project Manager.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS Revenue Recognition and billing milestones of the projects.

• You identify and implement lean management, digitalization and innovation initiatives
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and project management.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in similar capacity.
• Good understanding of SAP finance and project modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
