About this position
The Secretary (Finance and Accounting Manager) is responsible for supporting the executive in daily activities, ensuring effective communication and organization within the finance and accounting department.
Responsibilities
• Handle day to day activities as directed by the executive.
• Liaison with other functions to ensure prompt follow-up.
• Answer phone calls and redirect them when necessary.
• Ensures materials and reports for signature are accurate and complete; proofreads and checks typed and other materials for accuracy, completeness and compliance with District standards, policies and procedures.
• Schedules, prepares agenda and meeting materials and types minutes for various meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or higher in any related field.
• At least 1 years experiences in this role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications. Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
