About this position

The General Manager, Plant Controlling, Financial Planning is responsible for overseeing financial operations, business planning, transfer pricing, and SAP improvements within the organization, ensuring compliance with guidelines and effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities

Management in Plant Controlling
• Month-end closing and reporting
• Ensure MAHLE guideline appliances and the correctness of Mahle Advance Financial Reporting.
• Coordination and Participation in reviews/dashboards.
• Develop and update MSFT monthly closing/reporting schedules based on regional/group requirements.
• Perform analysis, propose, and follow-up countermeasures.
• Communication with BU2 Asia 1 controlling as key interface and Ensure closing update by management required.

Business planning
• Develop and update MSFT planning schedule based on regional/group requirements.
• Establish internal KPI targets according to Management strategy/targets.
• Support, review and coordinate with related department (cost centers, material cost, capex, inventory, headcount.
• Analyze and check consistency of ME plans. Prepare presentation material based on group guidelines/templates.

Transfer Pricing
• Support regular TP update process.
• Ensure understanding in all Asia 1 MEs about TP incl. guideline.

SAP
• Identify improvement potentials.
• Support SAP improvement projects.
• Planning of project schedules, ensure SAP project management.
• Harmonization and standardization of SAP processes.
• Minimize the usage of Lotus Notes Databases, future use only as interface to SAP where possible.

Others:
• Responsible for Perf. Lift program in BU2 Asia 1 region.
• Ensure MAHLE signature and approval guideline is applied in all MEs.
• Act as controlling interface to regional shared service centers and other departments
• Support as firefighting department in case needed in MSFT controlling including business travels to overseas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Statistical or related field.
• At least 10 year of experience in Controlling/FP&A.
• Good accounting know-how and Cost center controlling, SAP (PS, CO, FI).
• Fluent English language skill and MS Office.
• Very good leadership skill, Analytical thinker, Team player / communication skills, Self-starter and result driven.
