About this position

The Deputy General Manager Accounting and Finance at KYB (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is responsible for overseeing financial management, general accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and compliance to ensure the organization's financial health and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Forecasting future financial performance, creating budgets, and analyzing financial data to identify trends and make informed business decisions.
• Cash Flow Management: Overseeing the cash flow in and out of the organization, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs.
• Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks associated with the organization's activities.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) to communicate the organization's financial health to stakeholders.
• General Accounting & Finance
• Lead and manage the accounting and finance team, ensuring they meet deadlines and adhere to accounting standards.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain the accuracy of accounting records.
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Develop and maintain the company's budget, as well as create financial forecasts to help with strategic planning.
• Lead in the development and monitoring of budgets.
• Contribute to financial forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow and coordinate cash management activities.
• Supervise financial planning processes, including forecasting and budgeting.
• Control fixed assets in all processes i.e... Record in the fixed assets register, calculate depreciation, and dispose of the assets.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management.
• Internal Controls
• Implement and maintain a system of internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits. Address audit findings and implement necessary improvements.
• Compliance
• Ensure the company's financial operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with tax authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in accounting with a minimum 15 years of direct field experience, including at least 5 years at in Management Level.
• Accounting Experience in the Automotive parts business is preferable.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements by accounting standards. Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements is important.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards and Thai Tax.
• Fluent English Communication in Upper Intermediate-Advance Business Level.
• A CPD/CPA License is required.
• System Analytical Skills in both Accounting and Computerization.
