About this position

The Assistant Managing Director (AMD) will collaborate with the Managing Director to enhance productivity and manage resources effectively while overseeing daily operations and leading a high-performing management team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the MD to develop and implement operational strategies that enhance productivity and ensure cost-effective management of resources.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that the organization runs smoothly and meets its financial and operational targets.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in operational management, including the use of technology to optimize processes.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on the company's operational performance for the MD and board members.
• Act as a key representative of the company in negotiations and dealings with business partners, stakeholders, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance.
• Manage critical projects that contribute to the company's long-term success, evaluating risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and other external parties.
• Prepare to take on the responsibilities of the Managing Director, including strategic planning and corporate leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in operational management, with a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the elevator industry and market trends.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in Thai and English, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
