Senior Data Insight Analyst-Digital Banking
About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge data analytics, taking complicated questions or problems from the management/strategy teams and building simple frameworks
• Work closely with strategy team or business units to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including measurable critical metrics, and deliver actionable insights and recommendation
• Proactively develop hypothesis and analyze data to answer key questions, with an eye on what drives business monetization, investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity
• Identify research questions, define study scope, identify data logic and requirement, work with data engineer or data science team to select an appropriate combination of methods and tools to ensure optimal performance of the solutions
• Produce insight reports in a visually storytelling way, through strong data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources
• Manage project timeline and timely deliverables with cross-functional teams
• Build cooperation with the relevant business units to drive execution of our recommendation
Requirements
• Bachelor or Master degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or other areas with quantitative analytical skills
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analyst, or related fields
• Knowledge of and experience working with data programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, pandas, R, PySpark, Power BI)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent presentation skill with proficient MS PowerPoint skill
• Excellent communication skills and able to articulate concepts concisely to the point
• Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of and experience with data analytic tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools)
