Process Engineering Manager
About this position
The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for optimizing production processes, leading a team of engineers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities
• Analyze production data, identify performance bottlenecks, and develop solutions to optimize process parameters and increase overall plant efficiency.
• Lead a team of process engineers to drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving product quality.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of production systems, equipment, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality control, and environmental health & safety to streamline processes and achieve operational excellence.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on process efficiency and cost reduction.
• Foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence within the process engineering team.
Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in process engineering within cement or heavy industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
• Strong project management skills to drive initiatives from start to finish
• In-depth knowledge of cement manufacturing processes (kiln operation, raw material prep, clinker production, cement milling)
• Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams
• Understanding of cement chemistry and material properties for product development and improvement
• Skilled in process optimization to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
