About this position

The Application Engineer (INSEE Mortar) is responsible for conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and field tests, while also addressing customer needs and supporting marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations for customers and sales teams.
• Provide comprehensive training sessions for both metropolitan and upcountry regions.
• Conduct product field tests and trials in both metropolitan and upcountry areas.
• Compile and issue detailed test reports upon completion.
• Support Value-Added Products (VAPs) for retail activities.
• Perform new product application tests prior to launches and provide method statements for specific projects or typical uses.
• Conduct existing product application tests to address job site needs and improve work procedures.
• Conduct product blind tests and benchmarking exercises.
• Address and fix customer complaints effectively.
• Assist the Technical Marketing Manager in updating marketing tools, catalogs, leaflets, website product data, and implementing product dry samples.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Technical proficiency and ability to understand complex products.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Communication and presentation skills.
• Able to travel in up-country from time to time.
