About this position

The IT Engineer (Application Development) is responsible for supporting and maintaining business applications, particularly ERP systems, and ensuring efficient operation through collaboration, documentation, and user training.

Responsibilities

• Business Applications Support: Provide support for key business applications, including ERP, HR, purchasing, and financial systems. Collaborate with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve any issues to ensure smooth business operations.
• ERP System Maintenance: Support and maintain the ERP system, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and making minor updates to enhance functionality.
• In-House Software Support: Debug and maintain in-house applications developed with VB.Net. Ensure applications are running efficiently and securely, implementing necessary improvements based on business needs.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of systems. Maintain thorough documentation of processes and system changes.
• User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on business applications and ERP systems, creating training materials and conducting sessions as necessary.

Requirements

• Software Debugging: Strong skills in debugging in-house software, particularly using VB.Net.
• SQL Server Knowledge: Good understanding of SQL servers, including writing queries and performing troubleshooting.
• ERP Support: Basic experience in supporting ERP systems, especially Dynamics 365, and understanding of its key functionalities.
• Power Platform Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is highly valued as part of the company’s digital initiatives.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively across various business systems.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.
