Quality Inspector
About this position
The Quality Inspector ensures shredding equipment meets quality standards by inspecting materials, semi part and finished good. To identifying defects, supporting process improvements, document control, to maintain measurement equipment calibration, reliability and compliance.
Responsibilities
• Conduct quality inspections on incoming raw materials, quality in-process, semi part from outsources and finished shredding equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform routine checks on shredding equipment components for defects, functionality, and adherence to quality standards.
• Inspect and verify CNC, Welding, Electric and assembly processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as Vernier, dial, micrometers, and gauges to assess dimensions and tolerances.
• Document inspection results and maintain detailed quality records for audits and internal reporting.
• Identify non-conformities, initiate corrective action requests (CAR), and work with the production team to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for recurring quality issues.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and regulatory standards during inspections.
• Participate in the development of quality assurance protocols, testing procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the engineering, SCM and production teams to provide feedback on design and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in quality assurance or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with shredding equipment, machinery, or similar mechanical systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods during inspections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Full-time; may require occasional overtime or weekend work based on production needs.
• Knowledge in ERP and MRP system is advantage.
• Able to work at WHA1 Bowin, Chonburi.
• Have own car/Motorcycle and license.
