Finance Operations (Shopee)
About this position
The Finance Operations position at Shopee involves managing customer tax data, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with various teams to enhance tax services and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Maintain overall customer tax data
• Prepare, review and verify customer data for tax invoice and for compliance and correctness
• Answer questions, resolve issues, and track down discrepancies regarding tax invoice, credit note and Withholding Tax
• Prepare and perform analysis report upon request
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data of financial transactions
• Verifying payment and documenting process to ensure the payment amount is accurate.
• Work closely with the Customer Service team and Accounting team to solve sellers and buyer problems
• Work as a project member in a project to improve company taxation and improve customer satisfaction on tax services
• Suggest and give guidance to team members and other team on day-to-day tax related problem
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting would be preferable
• 1-2 years experience in the Accounting or Taxation field would be a plus.
• Basic-Good in English communication
• Good knowledge regarding tax
• Good in MS office program.
• Hard-working, energetic personality with Can-Do attitude
• Logical thinking and willing to learn
