Business Development Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Aggressively developing new customers (Transportation, Building Products and General Metal) by value selling in Thailand
• Building and extending relationship with targeted customers to make sure get business approval, win key project biddings, and align with all customers’ specs
• Leading development and promotion of new product platform to leverage business value by coordinating R&D, marketing, and technical service team
• Identify the market and handle business in Thailand by working with local team and facilities
• Deep understand of the assigned market segments through research of the market and value selling
• Provide leadership in developing market share growth by thoroughly exploiting all additional opportunities in assigned market segments for existing accounts with respect to adding new product lines and/or introducing new technologies (ensure that new business meets company's requirements for profitability and volume) and aggressively seeking the commercialization and incorporation of new businesses seamlessly into core account portfolio
• Develop the strong pipeline in the targeted markets of with the goal of providing consistent, sustained, profitable growth to meet the requirements of commercialized new business
• Maximize company’s profitability and increase commercialization rate by identifying/creating substantial product/value differentiation with customers
• Pro-actively monitor, and effectively communicate internally any changes in customer's requirements (e.g. product performance, quality control, billing, receiving, etc..) to meet / exceed customer's expectations
• Support sales team to identify the market and handle business in Thailand by working with local team and facilities
Requirements
• Required : B.S degree or above in Science or Business degree with strong chemistry aptitude. MBA will be a plus;
• Preferred : Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related
• Required : 5-8 years technical and sales experience with a chemical company or other related B2B business role.
• Understanding of operational quality and analytical tools
• Performing business development, account management and sales activities
• Business development & sales experiences on chemical industry are preferably; Excellent track pipeline
• Management experience of a sales team
• Preferred: Work for coating industry under the culture of MNC
• Excellent communicator, a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and a strong desire to succeed
• Strong leadership in managing a sales team
• Enthusiastic, ambitious and self-motivated.
