About this position
Responsibilities
• Be responsible, aggressive for sales and marketing activities in Indonesia
• Maintain and develop key account customer relationships by working all levels of the organization, and identify their needs to provide technical advice and solution
• Looks for new opportunities and accounts in GI business scope
• Develop sales channels for business growth
• Build up local sales and technical service forces to support business growth
• Analysis existing market share and competitor’s market share in Indonesia
• Analysis and understanding of competitors' technologies, strategies and activities in the region
• Implementing the regional defined sales strategy
• Meets company’s annual targets for sales figure, new business and gross margins
• Work with supply chain and customer service for forecast and inventory management
• Works with technical manager to meet customer needs for technical support and trouble shooting
• Works with Finance team for customers payment collection.
• Takes leading part in technical and commercial negotiation with regional customers
• Work safety to achieve zero accident
Requirements
• EDUCATION BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
• Required :
• B.S degree or above in Science or Business degree with strong chemistry aptitude. MBA will be a plus;
• Preferred :
• Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related
• 5-8 years technical and sales experience with a chemical company or other related B2B business role.
• Understanding of operational quality and analytical tools
• Performing business development, account management and sales activities
• Business development & sales experiences on chemical industry are preferably; Excellent track pipeline
• Management experience of a sales team
• Work for coating industry under the culture of MNC
• TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Required :
• Excellent communicator, a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and a strong desire to succeed
• Strong leadership in managing a sales team
• Enthusiastic, ambitious and self-motivated.
• Strong business knowledge, professional presentation skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Will need to be well organized, proficient at math, have a strong attention to details.
• Strong cross-function leadership and coordination capability
• Must be willing to travel 40% - 60% per month
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence,
