About this position
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role at Servier involves establishing medical affairs presence with external stakeholders through scientific exchange and research support, focusing on patient needs and safety.
Responsibilities
• Establish Servier medical affairs presence with external stakeholders through scientific exchange and research support.
• Act as the field-based therapeutic area (TA) expert responsible for execution of the TA specific medical plan in the field.
• Establish, develop, and foster relationships with key external stakeholders.
• Communicate fair-balanced therapeutic area related, product-related and clinical information to external stakeholders (e.g. physicians, academic institutions, hospital formulary committees).
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information.
• Manage communication and facilitate research discussions.
• Bring key insights from the medical and scientific community to internal stakeholders to guide the medical and product plans.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceuticals, bio-medical sciences or related field.
• MBA would be an additional qualification.
• Preferably, 2 to 3 years of experience in medical function or relevant Therapeutic Area (Oncology).
• Professional and discreet approach to all aspects of job.
• Ability to comprehensively learn about new subject areas and environments.
• Good level of written & spoken communication & presentation skills in Thai and English, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with TAEs, physicians & other healthcare decision makers.
• Substantial business acumen.
• Autonomy in managing his/ her priorities & activities.
• Strong commitment to compliance with the relevant rules and procedures, & to scientific quality & integrity.
• Ability to efficiently manage projects cross-functionally.
• Leadership, good active listener, good interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence & strength of conviction.
• Ability to negotiate, to resolve problems.
