Sr Engineer Factory Quality (ODT)
About this position
Seagate's Operations Quality & Analytics (OQ&A) is a global organization focused on enhancing Seagate’s Total Customer Experience through effective quality analytics and processes. The Factory Quality Outgoing DPPM Test (ODT) subgroup is responsible for drive quality testing to identify and address quality issues, ensuring product quality improvement.
Responsibilities
• Perform drive quality (ODT) testing and continuously monitor the product performance
• Inform, alert, set up/lead a meeting and coordinate with the product cross-functional teams on the investigation finding when product quality is out of control limit
• Work with FA / Product / Design engineering team for root cause understanding and Corrective/Preventive action providing
• Apply End-to-End data analytics for the root cause investigation and validation
• Continue to improve product outgoing quality performance (DPPM) to be at a good sustainable level below the internal trigger limit and validate good product integration quality at the customer
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure ODT test plan and performance meet the requirement and customer expectation
• Initiate and develop a project to improve the ODT test process towards IT 4.0 concept
• Continue to improve your skills to be ready for a challenging & complex product with new technologies and grow your career path
Requirements
• Interested in HDD/SDD/System industry and technology
• High competency in data analysis and problem-solving, good creativity, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
• Good leadership and demonstrated the ability to lead the team toward the product quality goal in both internal and external metrics
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and working with multiple priorities
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication in both Thai and English languages
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering fields or equivalent experience
• Storage and/or Hard Disk Drive industry experience is preferred
• Relatively good programming and statistical knowledge are preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
