About this position

HSA/Drive cleaning maintenance team in HSA Process Development department (HPD) is the department that works to maintain and support the Head Stack Assembly (HSA) and Drive cleaning and related machines and processes.

Responsibilities

• To be able to Perform cleaning machine preventive maintenance tasks per assignment and schedule (Shiftly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annually & Annually PM)
• To be able to technically perform problem analysis and troubleshooting for cleaning machines to control and minimize machines’ downtime. This is background know-how and such as electrical, electronic, and mechanical (including pneumatic and refrigeration) knowledge.
• Support engineering team to improve machine performances in terms of downtime minimization, cleaning effectiveness and washed part/component cleanliness improvement.
• To be able to repair broken parts of cleaning machines such as electrical motors, pumps, blowers, and electronic boards.
• To be able to comprehend the safety rules such as PPE (Personal protective equipment) should be worn when it is required.

• Manage the chemical usage and prepare chemical for draining, filling and toping up chemical/detergent to all cleaning machines This is to make sure that the chemical usage is controlled well and sufficient for daily production.
• Transfer chemical from store to production line and transfer waste chemicals, parts such as used chemical containers, and used filters to waste storage areas following Seagate's hazardous waste management.
• To be responsible for chemical sampling and solvent cleanliness monitoring per assignments

Requirements

• Good teamwork, leadership and coachability.
• Capable of communication in a technical knowledge with engineer team lead.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a clean room environment.
• Able to use basic engineering tools and instruments to maintain or fix machines.
• Good technical know-how and knowledge such as electrical, electronic, mechanical and refrigeration knowledge
• To have growth mindset

• Background in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial Diploma, or related field is accepted.
