Engineering Specialist II (Drive Backend Maintenance)
About this position
The Drive Backend Maintenance Engineering department is responsible for managing and conducting maintenance activities of Drive backend assembly Equipment in order to deliver to customer.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for drive backend equipment management for both hardware and software to deliver equipment to support drive production on time per timeline.
• Work on Drive Production Drive Backend
• Minimize drive failure related to equipment hardware and software problem.
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and administrative training programs to ensure proper equipment functional and maintain the inventory of equipment spare parts.
• Cooperate with other departments to acquire judgment in problem resolving/making decisions and recommendations.
• Work with Engineers and manufacturing to control process and output quality to meet target.
Requirements
• Computer skills (Microsoft office, basic command, software installation and configuration and network infrastructure system)
• Electronic and electrical skills (electronic and electrical circuit analysis)
• Electronic and electrical measurement and analysis tools
• Ability to work across multiple teams and collaborate effectively.
• Understand English equipment user manual.
• Good in English both read-write and communication.
• Open-minded and good attitude
• Equipment setup, install, upgrade, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting guideline.
• Skills training in problem root cause analysis tools. Such as Pareto Chart, Failure Mode, and Effects Analysis (FMEA), 5Whys, Cause, and Effect Analysis, and Plan Do Check Action (PDCA)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
