About this position

The Underwriting position involves assessing and approving insurance applications, recommending terms and coverage, and preparing underwriting reports.

Responsibilities

• Assess and approve applications for Car Insurance, Marine Cargo, and Property All Risk policies.
• Recommend terms, coverage, and premiums based on underwriting guidelines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly underwriting reports.

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in a general insurance company or insurance broker, specializing in underwriting or technical roles.
• Good knowledge of car, marine cargo, and property insurance.
• CGI, AAAIK, or AAAPAI certification is an advantage.
