Government Relations
About this position
The Government Relations position involves developing and maintaining interactions with government agencies, monitoring policies, and advocating for the organization's interests.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain interactions and partnerships with government agencies at various levels
• Monitoring government policies, advocating for the organization's interests, and fostering positive relationships with government officials
• Coordinate with various departments and colleagues and provide input to various local, national, and international officials
• Maintain advocacy and build relationship with the government
• Provide operational support to all legislative processes & perform research and analyze policies and regulations and assess their impact on Schneider
• Perform research on various legal issues and document all research to edit all government affair communications and participate in legislative committee meetings
• Maintain government and stakeholder relations that protect Schneider assets, enable us to manage issues swiftly, and ensure market access and a level playing field for Schneider in all relevant markets
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years’s experience in government relations and public affairs
• Bachelor's degree in any field; degrees in communication, international relations, or politics are a plus
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• Results-driven attitude with strong critical thinking skills
• Deep understanding of government processes and regulations
• Ability to navigate complex bureaucratic environments effectively
• High proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
