About this position

Schaeffler is a dynamic global technology company that offers development opportunities as a partner to major automobile manufacturers and key players in aerospace and industrial sectors. The position of Product Manager Asia Pacific (Customer Portal) involves driving the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle within the Digitization Vehicle Lifetime Solutions Asia Pacific Team.

Responsibilities

• Drive the E2E product-and-business planning processes for cross-functional teams; analyze customer needs, current market practice and trends; analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs with core digital and functional teams; appraise new product ideas for future development and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans.
• Create and own the product roadmap for all markets in Asia Pacific Sub-Region.
• Create and drive execution of product strategy with documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
• Manage product profitability and commercial success – own the business case.
• Closely collaborate with and support Product Owner, Feature Owner, Digital Transformation, Change Management, Data Management and other relevant functions in the development, QA and release of product.
• Plan and carry out product launches including Technical Go-Live and Market Go-Live.
• Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues.

Requirements

• Successfully completed international studies in e.g. change management, economics, business administration, business IT or comparable education.
• Strong experience in a dynamic product management role especially digital product solutions.
• Several years of experience in concept and business case development as well as implementation of digitization projects.
• Knowledge of the Automotive Aftermarket beneficial.
• Experience in using tools e.g. Jira, Asana, Confluence, Microsoft Teams Conceptboard, Figma, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Intercom, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar.
• Hands-on mentality.
• Strong leadership skills (entrepreneurship, strategic and analytical thinking, willingness to change, goal orientation, customer orientation).
• Well-developed soft skills (communicative, team oriented, ability to handle conflicts).
• Resilience and willingness to travel and work in multiple time zones.
