About this position

Senior Platform Service Engineer is responsible for leading the design of significant components of a modern digital service platform, including automation, build, deployment, and support. The role involves making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment while learning about new technologies and collaborating with talented colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in architecture, design, and planning for Cloud computing and DevOps implementation
• Collaborate with development and IT infrastructure teams to automate platform services
• Work with cross-functional teams to build, test, and deploy high-quality software
• Support colleagues and promote an inclusive DevOps culture
• Drive conversations and decisions to ensure scalable, secure, reliable, and performant services
• Define parameters for third-party service level agreements and monitor SLA performance
• Maintain up-to-date technical and user manual documentation for applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• Minimum five years’ experience supporting mission-critical corporate applications and programming in various languages
• Minimum two years’ experience in a lead or above position with strong people management skills
• Minimum two years’ experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, middleware, and containerization
• Minimum two years’ experience in Release Management, automation, and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in version control software, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Application Logging, Monitoring, and Performance Management
