Route To Market Manager
About this position
The Route To Market Manager is responsible for developing and recommending the company's route-to-market strategy in the Top 10 markets globally, optimizing cost-to-serve, and ensuring effective distribution of Sappe’s portfolio.
Responsibilities
• Developing and recommending the company's route-to-market strategy in the Top 10 markets globally; jointly leading Sappe’s Distributors network. Key objective related to RTM is achievement of full distribution of Sappe’s portfolio in channels aligned with portfolio’s positioning and where financially possible. This shall be achieved by optimizing cost-to-serve and RELENTLESSLY exploring alternative RTM models and configurations.
• Defining, aligning and implementing Sappe’s in-store execution picture of success, fostering capability development within distribution network and driving continuous improvement (internal alignment with Sappe’s center: Marketing, Customer, RGM and Business Development. Identify and recommend execution tracking tools to be rolled out in markets. Standardize reporting tools and consolidate reporting for management’s visibility.
• Identifying and recommending best-in-class SFA solutions to Distributor’s network promoting excellence in selling process and striving for standardization across markets.
• Develop and recommend the company's route-to-market strategy in Top 10 markets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective distribution of the company's products.
• Develop Cost-to-serve optimization modelling and tools in collaboration with Finance and external parties (if required).
• Work with Shopper insights, marketing, trade marketing and external agency to develop POS by channel for Top 10 markets. Land shopper insights by brand into POS. Recommend coverage by channel of POS and quantify cost per market. Monitor execution and produce scorecards.
• Monitor execution and channel budget deployed in-market.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in sales or route-to-market management in the beverage or CPG industry. Experience in trade marketing and POS development a plus
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills. English proficiency required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
