About this position

DORMER PRAMET IS LOOKING FOR SAP Technical Architect (REMOTE ROLE) This position can be located anywhere in Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Bulgaria, Malaysia, India, Thailand or Vietnam. Dormer Pramet is a global manufacturer and supplier of tools for the metal cutting industry, and we have a truly international presence with four production units and sales offices in 20 countries. Our skills and products solve engineering challenges across many industry sectors – including maintenance and repair operations, as well as general engineering through to heavy machining, railway and airframe assembly.

Responsibilities

• Study and understand the business process and architecture related to SAP ERP system.
• Analyze the gap between new requirements against current solutions to develop technical specification.
• Deliver the technical solutions in SAP in line with the alignment of IT solution.
• Monitor the platform to secure the technical solutions running smoothly with high performance.
• Provide guidance and support to other architect on SAP Technical solutions.
• Design, create and test programs and application in SAP environment when needed.
• Develop associated documentation.
• Participate in team activities and team planning with the aim of improving team skills, awareness, and quality of work.
• Support tests of the system to make sure it accomplishes business requirements.
• Carry out necessary activities to secure the health status of SAP platform.
• Manage the capacity of the technical resources of SAP.
• Management the foundation modules or functionalities of SAP platform, like BASIS, CPI, scheduled jobs, etc.
• Manage vendors of the designated area.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT development, SAP platform maintenance.
