About this position
Responsibilities
Machine Improvement :
• Identify areas for machine improvement to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to upgrade existing machinery.
• Collaborate with design engineers to create detailed plans for modifications.
• Oversee the implementation of machine improvements, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
Commissioning :
• Lead the commissioning process for new and modified machinery.
• Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to facilitate successful commissioning.
Project Management :
• Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Communication & Collaboration :
• Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress and challenges clearly and concisely.
• Facilitate collaborative problem-solving and decision-making.
Continuous Improvement :
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and methodologies.
Requirements
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of proven experience in machine design and commissioning within the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving project goals.
• Proficient in relevant software and tools for machine design, commissioning, and project management.
