The International Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies in various Asian markets, managing distributor relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales strategies for modern trade and convenience store channels in China, Korea, Taiwan, and etc.
• Identify and secure new distribution partners to expand market reach.
• Manage existing distributor relationships, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to agreements.
• Achieve sales targets and growth objectives for assigned markets.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
• Adapt product offerings and marketing strategies to suit local preferences and regulations.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the company's brands and products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in modern trade and convenience store channels.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for product listings, promotions, and shelf space.
• Collaborate with key accounts on joint marketing initiatives and category management programs.
• Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, production, etc.) to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
• Manage export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to optimize stock allocation and avoid shortages.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for management review.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance and market penetration.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in FMCG export sales, with a focus on modern trade and convenience store channels.
