Assistant to General Manager - (50K - 60K)
About this position
The Assistant to the General Manager will support the management of critical projects, operational analysis, food safety, quality assurance, process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, market research, and communication.
Responsibilities
• Assist the General Manager in managing critical projects related to production optimization, new product development, and market expansion.
• Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards. Develop and implement quality control measures.
• Utilize industrial engineering principles to optimize production processes, streamline workflows, and reduce costs.
• Work closely with various departments, including production, quality assurance, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion. Analyze competitor strategies and industry trends.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials for the General Manager and other stakeholders.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with a minimum GPA 3.00.
• 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial engineering principles and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Fast learner with a strong desire to develop professionally.
